Introduction:
Organisation management is the process in which organise, plane or control all
activities by a manager. Manager could be three types such as, top level,
middle level or higher level manager.
Organisation: organisation
arranges people to achieve specific goal. Main focus of any organisation is
coordinating activities or accomplishes the goals. Organisation could be any
type such as, private, non profit, government and profitable.
I would like to describe about IKEA it is very famous organisation.
IKEA is multinational company which sells furniture, kitchen goods, and other
useful appliances. I have chosen this organisation because it work for
community as well as maintain their business. IKEA provide best services to
their customers. It is founded in Sweden in 1943 by Ingvar kampard. He was 17
years old carpenter when he started his business. Firstly Ingvar kampradstated
his business of mail orders sales and after 5 years, he began to sells
furniture. In 1958, in smaland first store was opened of IKEA, and then he started
to their business in many areas such as, Norway, Denmark, Switzerland. So in
November 2018, there were 424 IKEA stores in 52 different nations. 38.8 billion
of IKEA good were sold in 2018.( Cited by www.ikea.com) . It is very big
organisation where approximately 208000 employees are working. Design of IKEA
stores are unique from other companies these are blue and yellow colour
buildings. It also national colour of Sweden. People can buy products from
directly visiting in IKEA stores as well as they can order online through
website of IKEA. Now, IKEA making solar panels and LED bulbs which helps to
reduce the wastage of energy. Major theme of this organisation make products
